The love for design and art is present in everything Caia Leifsdotter does. Growing up in an artistic family the passion for shapes and colours came early and naturally for the Copenhagen based artist Caia Leifsdotter. After studies within both art and interior design she started her own design studio where she combines her passion for design and art and where she creates atmospheric and inspiring spaces and objects.

With a creative approach to design Caia Leifsdotter's work is characterized by minimalistic shapes and Scandinavian style. Her interest in shape shifting design is present in all her work which result in a changeable and living creativity. In the collection “Psychedelic Mirrors” made for The Ode To, Caia Leifsdotter shows the magic of shape shifting design and gives the beholder a new way of seeing the world. Depending on angle and perspective these artworks show how our world can be seen differently.
The method behind these mesmerizing artworks is using acrylic on MDF which results is changeable and uncontrollable reflections with a sparkling yet natural and watery appearance. A new dimension of reality!
