Can you tell us about your background and how you came to be an artist?

– My art journey has always been influenced by my love for skateboarding, music, movies, and photography. Mixing these interests with my job as a craftsman just felt right. My artistic style grew naturally from blending these different influences, creating a unique and versatile artistic vision.

What inspired you to create the artworks you have made for The Ode To?

– The inspiration for my artworks for The Ode To comes from my artistic exploration of color and form. Each piece reflects my passion for successes and challenges, aiming to express myself boldly without self-criticism.

What do you want to call your series of artworks, and why?

– Självständig Ästetik, which essentially means that the art possesses its own independent visual expression or style. The term "self-standing" (självständig) suggests that the art stands on its own, free from influence or norms of other artistic expressions. "Ästetik" translates to "aesthetics" in English, referring to the visual and emotional expression of art, encompassing the artistic experience and beauty of the work. Therefore, "Självständig Ästetik" can be interpreted as art radiating an independent and unique beauty or visual style.
