This vase is a fantastic fusion of a wheel-thrown ceramic vase and vivid glass pieces that melt together in the kiln. The result is almost unbelievable and we've never seen anything quite like it. It's a vase that deserves to be the center of attention.

Why we love Lisa Hartwig Ericson's work: she spent 15 years working with human rights and politics and turned her passion for ceramics into a second career as she started her BA at Konstfack art school in Stockholm in 2020. You can really see her newfound love for experimenting with glass and ceramics. Learn more in Lisa Hartwig Ericson's artist portrait.

Details: it's signed by the artist on the bottom. Please note that this vase has a tiny little mark in the ceramic, it's underneath a piece of glass and is barely visible, we just wanted to let you know. The glass is cracked at places (it comes with this technique), so lift it by the bottom of the vase and not on the glass parts. Also note that since it's fragile you may want to keep water and flowers away from it. Little pieces of the glass may break off in handling and that is totally ok. Keep in mind that all handmade artworks can have charming little imperfections.
