The series Soba consists of mouth blown glass sculptures created in a wooden mould made from cnc-milled (high tech drill sort of) wooden curves. For each vase the wooden mould changes from the heat of the glass, which results in every vase being slightly different from the other. The series is a result of exploring a new expression in-between a digital imprint and the traditional craftsmanship of blowing glass. The natural unpredictability of glass as a material was central for this series: One can create a mould attempting to anticipate how the glass will react and be formed, but in the end one will never know what the final outcome will be. Much like art itself.
Unpredictability meets refinement in this mouth-blown glass sculpture by designer and artist duo LACC. The familiar, yet modern, expression of the sculpture, stems from being created through traditional craftsmanship with a digital imprint.
About LACC: is a Stockholm based design collaboration by Charlotta Hallström and Carl Cyrén, who started working together in 2015 while studying at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. Both working within the fields of craft, design and interior architecture, Charlotta and Carl started LACC as a platform allowing more experimental and playful work ranging from furniture to art pieces. Details: It has an etched signature on the bottom. Please note that all handmade objects may have charming little imperfections and colour variations.

All orders use trackable and reliable shipping. You will get an email with the tracking number as soon as the order leaves the warehouse. When you buy multiple products, they may be delivered in multiple parcels depending on the order.

Some of our artworks are shipped straight from the artist to you. This is always clearly stated in the artwork description. The artist may need an extra day or two in order to process your order and pack it. You'll get a tracking code when the artwork is shipped.
Shipping from artists
Frames
Frames can only be purchased in Sweden due to high shipping costs. The print is mounted by a framing studio in Stockholm and takes an additional 5 work days for delivery. You’ll get an email with the tracking number for the delivery to the framing studio, but you’ll not be able to track the shipping of the framed print. The frame will be ready to put on your wall as soon as it arrives.
Returns
You can return your order within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund. All items should be returned in its original condition and packaging. Please note that you are responsible for the return back to us.
Framed prints and on demand prints cannot be returned since they are printed and/or mounted especially for you and can’t be reused after being returned. For more info read our full Return Policy.

All payments are done using SSL encryption preventing unauthorized access to card details. We offer the following payment options: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Klarna, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Swish, iDEAL and Bancontact.
