Could you tell us about your background and how you came to be an artist?

– I studied fashion at the Royal Academy in Antwerp and worked as a shoe designer for a period following my studies. It was during this time that I began incorporating clay into my shoe designs, experimenting with new shapes and forms. As I developed a passion for working with clay and sculpting, my focus shifted, and now my studio is primarily dedicated to the art of clay and firing.

How would you describe your art and aesthetics in three words?

– Hot, romantic and fun!
