'Baybayin' is the name of the beautiful, curvy script used in the Philippines until it was colonized by Spain. This functional piece is the an ode the artist's goal of reconnecting to the Filipino diaspora.
We love the artwork for its clean, yet soft, curves. It's a beautiful piece and it becomes even more interesting when learning about Isabella Smolarski's progress of appreciating her Swedish-Filipino cultural heritage.
Details: The artwork is named and numbered on the back by the artist. The artwork doesn't have a hook on the back, so you can either lean it or mount it on two small nails. This artwork arrives with a protective plastic film that you need to remove. The surface is sensitive to scratches so use a soft cloth when cleaning it.

Shipping From Artists
Some of our artworks are shipped straight from the artist to you. This way we reduce the amount of transport needed and keep a more sustainable approach to art transportation. It’s always clearly stated in the artwork description if the artwork is shipped from the artist.

Returns
You can return your order within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund. All items should be returned in their original condition and packaging. Please note that you are responsible for the return back to us.
