What do you call your series of artworks?

– I've named the series "Manipulated memories".

What technique have you used?

– Ink fine liners and ink brush pens.

What inspired you to create the artworks you have made for The Ode To?

– Inspired by personal trauma, I transformed memories into art through manipulation and hallucination. The recurring flowers symbolize life, while dreamlike tears represent the healing process. By removing color, I invite viewers to interpret each artwork through their own lens.

Can you tell us about your background and how you came to be an artist?

– I studied Fashion Design Technology at London College of Fashion, where I discovered creative illustration. After that time I started to draw based on my own imagination and dreams. In the aftermath of a traumatic event I researched how to manipulate a memory and within that process I developed my signature style where the dreamlike tears and, as I would like to call them ”crying flowers”, have become a strong identity throughout my work.

How would you describe your art and aesthetics in three words?

– Colourful, dreamy and melancholy.
