What do you call your series of artworks?

– Flowing landscapes - to capture the essence of my abstract interpretation of landscapes with bleeding colours and forms.

What technique have you used?

– I use unprimed canvas (cotton or linen), which I upholstered myself. I work with acrylic paints mixed with water in varying proportions. By using different degrees of pre-watering the paint and canvas, I apply layers of paint and determine the final result of the paint application.

Can you tell us about your background and how you came to be an artist?

– My journey as an artist began with learning painting from my artist uncle, focusing on realistic and perspective drawing. While my life took various paths, including pursuing a career in medicine and raising a family, I rediscovered my passion for art through Instagram. Intrigued by bleeding colors and sharp contrasts, I started painting again, exploring different canvases. In 2022, I decided to share my art with the world, thanks to the encouragement of my husband. And here I am, embracing my artistic journey with joy and fulfillment.

How would you describe your art and aesthetics in three expressions?

– Bleeding colours, optical contrast, vintage look
