This beautiful sculpture is more than just a pretty face. Made as a tribute to all women, it is filled with meaning and history. "Dogu Lady" is made as a salute to the strength of the career mother. "Dogu" refers to a mysterious female figurines from prehistoric Japan and seen as a symbol of fertility. Through her art Noe Kuremoto wants to showcase the complexity of life as a woman, choosing path in life and the struggle of finding balance combining careers and parenting.
Just like the female body – the sculptures come in different shapes and sizes. The soft lines and organic forms makes this a timeless sculpture that will last forever. By mixing contemporary sophistication with influences of her Japanese heritage Noe Kuremoto makes art that transforms any space to the better.
Details: the sculpture is signed by the artist on the bottom. The white dripping glaze gives the sculpture a unique finish. Please note that this sculpture is not watertight but works perfect with dried flowers

Shipping From Artists
Some of our artworks are shipped straight from the artist to you. This way we reduce the amount of transport needed and keep a more sustainable approach to art transportation. It’s always clearly stated in the artwork description if the artwork is shipped from the artist.

Returns
You can return your order within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund. All items should be returned in their original condition and packaging. Please note that you are responsible for the return back to us.
